NEXTY Electronics Corporation (hereinafter the “Company” ) recognizes that it is part of its social responsibility and that it is fundamental in building firm relationships of trust with customers to properly handle information provided by such customers and to control it securely. The Company will fulfill the obligations stipulated in laws and regulations pertaining to protection of personal information and in the guidelines established by the competent minister. The Company also institutes a basic policy as follows to ensure appropriate handling and protection of personal information. I. Proper Acquisition of Personal Information and Communication and Public Announcement of Purposes of Use The Company will acquire personal information (referring to information that pertains to and personally identifies a living individual) by appropriate means. In doing so, the Company will specify the purposes of use to the utmost degree and either publicly announce them in advance or make them known to the customer or the public immediately after the acquisition. However, they will be expressly presented in advance in the event of direct acquisition from the customer in writing or in a similar manner. II. Use of Personal Information The Company will use customers’ personal information solely within the scope of the purposes of use that have been communicated to the customer or announced publicly; provided, however, that this will not apply if prior approval is obtained from the customer or in any case that should be treated as exceptional under laws or regulations. III. Offering of Personal Information to Third Parties The Company will not disclose or offer customers’ personal data (referring to personal information constituting part of a personal information database or similar, which refers to an assembly of information containing personal information that is defined in a cabinet order as one that is systematically organized in such a way that specific personal information can be easily retrieved) without obtaining the customer’ s prior consent; provided, however, that this will not apply in cases where the disclosure or offering is exceptionally authorized by laws or regulations. IV. Personal Information Management The Company will endeavor to keep personal data it handles accurate and up-to-date to the extent necessary for fulfillment of the purposes of use. To prevent leakage, loss, damage or unauthorized access, the Company will implement necessary and appropriate measures and supervise its employees and contractors in an effort to implement appropriate management. Ⅴ. Cookie Policy The Company uses cookies on this site. Cookies are pieces of information shared between your web browser and a website, and are commonly used on many sites today. By using cookies, this website can refer to which page in the site the user has visited in the past, etc., to display more appropriate contents and provide services to re-visiting users. Inquiries on Personal Data Retained Upon receipt of a customer request (including via proxy) for disclosure, notification of the purposes of use, correction, discontinuation of use or similar of a customer ’s personal data retained (referring to personal data with authority for disclosure, correction, etc., excluding those designated by a cabinet order as harmful to public interests or other interests if their presence or absence is clear, or those set to be deleted within six months), the Company will check that the request comes from the customer (including via proxy) in accordance with laws and regulations and then to a reasonable extent respond to the request. VII. Handling of Complaints The Company will swiftly and appropriately address customer complaints regarding personal information that it handles and endeavor to develop its internal system for this objective.

NEXTY Electronics Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “Company” , “we”, “us” or “our”) discloses the following matters on “e-NEXTY” website to customers according to the provisions of applicable laws and regulations. The customers are required to read and agree with these matters in order to register as our member (the terminologies are the same as in the company’ s privacy policy). Ⅰ. Purposes of Use of Personal Information Handled by the Company The customers’ personal information will be used for the following purposes in the businesses described in “The Company’s Business That Uses Personal Information of the Customers” below. 1. To provide mail magazines 2. To execute contracts such as service provision 3. To notify and provide products and services handled by the Company and its group companies 4. To announce various seminars and exhibitions held by the Company and its group companies 5. For various researches, such as surveys 6. To respond to customers’ inquiries and requests, etc. 7. The Company may store customers ’ personal information for a longer period of time if we receive a complaint from our customer, or if we determine that we have a potential lawsuit. Ⅳ. Legal Rights Under certain circumstances, customers have the following rights regarding their personal information. a. The right to request access to personal information: (This allows you to receive a copy of the personal information retained by us and confirm that we are legally processing it.) b. The right to request for correction of personal information: (This allows you to correct incomplete or incorrect data in your personal information. However, we may verify the accuracy of the new personal information that you provide.) c. The right to request to delete personal information: (This allows you to request for deletion if there is no good reason for us to continue processing your personal information. However, please note that we may not always be able to respond to your request for deletion due to regulation requirements.) d. The right to make an objection against improper processing of personal information: (This allows you to check the legality of personal information processed by us.) e. The right to request for personal information processing restriction: (This allows you to request for a temporary suspension of personal information processing in the following cases. f. The right to request for the transfer of personal information to a customer (or a third party specified by the customer) g. The right to withdraw customers’ consent: (However, it does not affect the legality of personal information processing performed prior to the withdrawal of consent. Please note that we may not be able to provide certain products or services if you withdraw your consent for personal information processing. In that case, we will inform you accordingly.) Ⅴ. The Process to Request for Disclosure, Notification of the Purpose of Use, Correction, Suspension, Etc. as Well as Inquiries Concerning Personal Information 1. Certificate of registered seal of the principal (a person who is the object of the request for disclosure or the other requests) c. Resident certificate, resident card or special permanent resident certificate of the representative d. Certificate of the representative’s family register (either of all records or of individual records) e. A copy of the representative’s driver’s license f. A copy of the representative’s passport (4) Fee for Making a Request Enclose a stamp equivalent to the following fees with the request form. (5) How we respond to your request We will send our response document to the address of the requester stated in the request form (or the representative's address in case of requests made by representative) by registered mail with proof of delivery. (6) Cases That We Cannot Disclose or Notify the Purpose of Use Please note that in the following cases, we may not be able to respond to requests for disclosure and notification of the purpose of use. a. When there is a defect in the description and attached documents b. When the right of representation could not be confirmed (in case of requests made by representative) c. Cases due to laws or regulations d. When you could not pay the prescribed fee described in section (4) above (7) Cases That We Do Not Retain the Requested Personal Information We will inform you accordingly if we do not retain the information.
