Block
Description
- Blocks must always be connected.
- Block name, part number, and attributes can be associated.
- You can move a block using the up/down/left/right keys.
- Select “Switch To Link” from the right-click menu to convert to module link.
Notes
- If a block is not connected, an error will be displayed before you self-check and save.
Module link
Description
- Module links must always be connected.
- A module link can be associated to Block diagram import or a newly created layer.
- The module link associated to the layer can be moved to the associated layer using "Move to target link layer".
- Similar to block, you can set name, change the border color and fill color for the module link.
- You can convert a module link to a block by selecting “Switch To Block” from the right-click menu.
Notes
- Similar to block, if a module link connected, an error will occur before you self-check and save.
Connect
Description
- You can connect the parts together.
- You can set the signal (such as UART.I2C) type.
- You can set the power (such as DC5V) type.
Notes
- The arrow reverses when you drag from the right.
- An error will be shown if both ends are not connected to a block, module link, text or frame.
- If you move only the connect line which is already linked to blocks, the connection will cease. To avoid that, select and move the line together with the blocks.
Text
Description
- Drag & drop to place a textbox.
- The textbox background is transparent.
- You can place any text in the box.
- You can move a block using the up/down/left/right keys.
- You can connect text boxes to each other.
Notes
- Please note that if you place a new block on the existing textbox, it cannot be brought to the front.
Frame
Description
- Block frame is used as boundary.
- The textbox background is transparent.
- You can connect text boxes to each other.
- You can enter any text.
- You can move a block using the up/down/left/right keys.

Round Rectangle
Description
- Round Rectangle is used as boundary.
- The textbox background is transparent.
- You can connect text boxes to each other.
